Questions & answers with: Samantha Salinas

What do you love the most about working at ABC?

The very best part of ABC is the people. Working at ABC means I have the opportunity to work with a diverse, kind, and talented group of individuals who champion each other for a shared purpose.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

As our clinicians and technicians tirelessly teach new skills, I have the privilege of supporting them. The most rewarding days include developing helpful resources, consulting, connecting them to mentors, and being a listening ear.

What is your advice for a new clinician at Action Behavior?

Join ABC ready to build connections, learn during the least expected moments, and contribute to the success of others.

What is your favorite Action Behavior memory?

When I joined the team, ABC’s founders were preparing for their first expansion into a new city. A glance behind the scenes at the effort and thoughtfulness with family outreach, physician lunch and learns, and teammate hiring was humbling. I will always remember the first few weeks the center doors opened and we began serving children and families in Houston.
