Questions & answers with: Chris Gibson

Which core value represents your leadership style?

The core value of "Learning" best represents me as a leader. I love learning about anything new, and I always strive to grow my skills as a leader and clinician. I truly love teaching and developing the teammates I work with. It’s rewarding to me as a leader to watch people learn new skills and apply them.

What do you love the most about working at ABC?

The people! I get to work alongside some amazing people who want to do what is best for the families we impact. Teamwork is everywhere at ABC, and we truly do our best to make sure everyone feels supported.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Watching people grow. Naturally, watching the children we work with learn new skills is very rewarding, but I also love watching RBTs grow into BCBAs. I've had the pleasure of watching several RBTs grow into brand-new BCBAs in my time at ABC. I have also gotten to help mentor many BCBAs through their career growth into Clinical Directors.

What is your advice for a new Clinical Director at Action Behavior?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help and support. You will have someone jumping in to help you. Have fun, and take the time to form solid connections with the teammates in your center.
